QuickPark is a Smart Parking Research Pilot Project at select North County Transit District (NCTD) COASTER train stations that utilizes modern technology to deliver an effective parking management system.
QuickPark services include preferential parking Monday through Friday for carpools/vanpools and advance reservation capability for solo drivers to guarantee an up front parking space at the Carlsbad Village, Carlsbad Poinsettia, and Encinitas NCTD COASTER parking lots.
Register below for a free carpool/vanpool monthly parking space or reserve an up front parking space for $2 a day up to ten days in advance.

CARPOOL/VANPOOL
REGISTRATION
- Register above for your space each month
- Three to six spaces will be designated ‘Carpool/Vanpool’ near each station platform
- Spaces will be available to COASTER riders for free on a first-come, first-served basis
- Each carpool/vanpool rider must register, print, and display a carpool/vanpool permit on the vehicle’s dashboard

ADVANCED RESERVATION FOR
SOLO DRIVERS
- Reserve your guaranteed space above up to
ten days in advance
- Up to ten spaces will be designated ‘Reserved’
near each station platform
- Spaces will be available to COASTER riders for
$2 per day
- Riders must print and display a ‘Reserved’ permit on their dashboard

SANDAG, Caltrans, NCTD, and the Federal Highway Administration, in coordination with U.C. Berkeley - Transportation Sustainability Reseach Center and ParkingCarma, are collaborating to implement this pilot project.
