- Online - please allow three business days for your
new pass to be activated.

- Set up automatic reload at 511 with your credit
or debit card and your Compass Card card will
always be ready when you are!
- Reloading during the middle of the month helps
you avoid the lines.
- All types of multi-day Regional Day Passes (2, 3,
4, 14, and 30-Days) can be reloaded at all Ticket
Vending Machines, the MTS Transit Store, and
NCTD Customer Service Centers.
- One-Day Adult Regional ($5) Day Passes can
only be reloaded at any San Ysidro Trolley Station
Ticket Vending Machines.
- Monthly, 30-Day, and 14-Day passes also can be reloaded online, or call 511 and say “Compass” to
speak to a customer service center representative.
- To convert from a monthly pass to a 30-Day pass,
or vice versa, call 511 and say “Compass” to speak
to a customer service center representative. This conversion can only be done through a Compass
Card customer service center representative.
